Paintcan is a storage space for resumes. Resumes can be added to the paintcan from different sources like job sites, direct post from company sites or resumes from advertisement. All resumes in the paintcan are reviewed and suitable entries are moved to the eWetpaint main database. For companies with multiple divisions, a separate Paintcan is provided for each division.

 

Add Candidate: 'Add Candidate' page is used to post a new resume to the paintcan. To post a new entry, necessary details like first name, last name, email, skill set and resume are to be provided. The option 'Source' is used to indicate whether the resume is updated from any third party job portals or jobsites like 'Monster', 'Careerbuilder', 'Naukri' or any other sources. The resume content can either be uploaded directly from the computer or copy-pasted.

 

Paintcan Candidate: Paintcan 'Candidate Page' displays the existing entries in a paintcan. It comes with a few options like 'Snapshot', 'Edit', 'Resume' 'Delete', 'Mail' and 'Move To', for each entry.

 

Snapshot: 'Snapshot' will display the HTML resume of a candidate for review. Eligible entries can be moved to the main database by clicking 'Move Candidate to eWetpaint's button in the 'Candidate Summary Details' section under 'HTML Resume'. Details of each candidate are entered into corresponding fields in the 'Candidate Summary' before they are moved to the main database. All entries moved to the main database will be automatically deleted from the paintcan. The snapshot also provides an option to contact the candidate via email from within the application. This link can be found at the top right corner of the 'HTML Resume' section.

 

Edit: To edit candidate details. Changes made to the entry can be saved by clicking Update candidate Button.

 

Resume: To view the HTML Resume of a candidate. The details can be printed directly from this page.

 

Delete: To delete an existing entry from Paintcan.

 

Mail: To send a mail to the candidate from within the application.

 

Move To: To move an entry directly to the eWetpaint main database with out filling the candidate summary. Each entry is cross checked to prevent duplication. If the candidate details already exist in the same division, the system will throw an error message "Candidate already exists". Entries moved to the main database are automatically deleted from the paincan.

 

 

Search Candidate: Paintcan provides a search tool to find a candidate using search criteria like candidate ID, First Name, Last Name, Key Skill and Email.
